Midland County Non-Profits Benefit from ºÚÁÏÉç Donation of over 350 Laptops

MIDLAND, MI., April 12, 2024 ¡ª ºÚÁÏÉç today announced that it has donated over 350 computer laptops to several Midland County non-profit organizations through its company-wide  IT Second Life Hardware program. By providing unused devices a second life through donations to deserving non-profit organizations, the company is helping to reduce e-waste and providing essential technology to those who need it most.

The IT Second Life Hardware Program donated the laptops to local non-profit partners, including The Legacy Center for Community Success, West Midland Family Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Greater Midland North Family Center, and the Arnold Center. The donation of 279 laptops to the Arnold Center was ºÚÁÏÉ硯s largest single donation in the U.S. to date and one of the first donations in Midland. The Arnold Center is a leader in the employment service arena and is using the laptops to enhance the digital literacy and accessibility for individuals participating in disability services.

Kathryn Tate, Executive Director of the Legacy Center for Community Success, expressed her gratitude for ºÚÁÏÉç's support, saying "Thanks to ºÚÁÏÉç's generous donation, community members without access to a computer can now work on their Northstar Digital Literacy Certificates at The Legacy Center. We appreciate ºÚÁÏÉç's support in helping expand our digital literacy program for adult learners."

Scott Litle, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region, commented on the impact of ºÚÁÏÉç's computer donations, stating "With access to these computers, our littles can explore, learn, and dream big. This donation empowers our children to reach their full potential and create a brighter future for themselves. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of ºÚÁÏÉç and the impact it has on the lives of our littles."
